Baseline (Widescreen) Solution & Issues
Normal widescreen resolutions are natively supported. The monitor's native resolution is automatically selected.
FMV videos and the pre-game interface are stretched from 4:3 but everything used during gameplay has the correct aspect ratio.
Using a non-native resolution requires a workaround; switch the desktop resolution to the intended in-game resolution, then set the game to windowed mode (exiting to save the change) and then back to fullscreen mode (exiting once again). The desktop resolution can then be changed back to normal and the game will remember that resolution as long as it is not switched into windowed mode again.
Ultra/Super-Wide (21:9/32:9) Specific Solution & Issues
The edge of the world may be visible on some maps when moving the camera to the very end while zoomed in (this did not break gameplay on the tested maps).
Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution & Issues
The game output flickers, rapidly switching between alternating views of the left and right sides of the map for every frame. Changing the zoom level may temporarily stop the flickering but it will return if the camera is moved horizontally.
This flickering behaviour was seen at 5760x1080, 4800x900, and 3072x768.
