Baseline (Widescreen) Solution & Issues
Native Hor+ support with comprehensive settings.
- Field of View: VFOV 60-90. Does not affect weapon models. The higher the FOV, the weaker the scope/sight zoom-in.
- Aspect Ratio can be set independently of resolution. Leave it alone.
- Widescreen Letterbox adds black bars to a 16:9 picture. Don't do it.
Ultra/Super-Wide (21:9/32:9) Specific Solution & Issues
Native Hor+ support. Oddly enough a number of art assets were designed with 21:9 in mind, but not the HUD.
32:9 support varies from update to update, going from fully supported to pillarboxing.
Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution & Issues
Native Hor+ support, HUD is automatically 16:9-centered.
- FMVs: tutorials are pillarboxed, story is windowboxed.
- Real-time rendered cutscenes: replay is Hor+ although mission ending is pillarboxed.
