Baseline (Widescreen) Solution & Issues

Native Hor+ support. The game initially starts at 1280x720 but all resolutions are supported.

Resolution can't be changed during missions.
Aspect ratio can be set to 4:3, 16:9 or Auto (at any time).
In non-16:9 widescreen, FMVs and the UI are squished.

Ultra/Super-Wide (21:9/32:9) Specific Solution & Issues

Native Hor+ support with minor UI blemishes.

Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution & Issues

Native Hor+ support marred by UI issues. Recurrent switching of Aspect Ratio between Auto and 4:3 is mandatory.

Two settings you should change before the resolution*:

Options, Mouse, Camera Sensitivity: set to 4 (minimum).

Default setting is already high in widescreen and sensitivity scales with display width.

Options, Video, Post Filters: set to Low.

High results in blurry graphics during real-time rendered cut-scenes (dialogs & sneak attacks), see Additional screenshots.

*Alternatively you can apply Aspect Ratio 4:3 to your Multi-monitor resolution for easier menu navigation.

With Aspect Ratio set to Auto:

Menus are part spanned, part cut-off.

All buttons are accessible. Menu items that are off-screen are still accessible using keyboard or controller.
Difficulty: Saboteur is off the screen (as are difficulty details). Don't think Easy/Normal/Hard is all there is !
New Game: only the first few missions are visible.

Lockpicking interface is cut-off, which makes cracking safes especially tiresome. Again, switching to Aspect Ratio 4:3 is a good workaround (to open options menu during missions: Esc, Up x2, Enter).
Rewiring interface stretches. Playable as-is if the buttons are not hidden by bezel gaps...
Subtitles stretch.
Fullscreen map layout scales correctly but all markers are magnified.
Collected notes can't be read (all items descriptions are off the Inventory screen).
Instinct mode's radar ring is cut-off.
Crosshair is huge.
