Crash time ... also known as Alarm for Cobra 11: Crash Time ... works in surround out of the box ... just choose "Square Pixels" .... and not "widescreen" and not "wide window" in the "Configure Crash Time" utility that comes with the game ...

This game looks awesome. How do the cars handle Paddy? Are they like the cars in NFS: Most Wanted or more like bricks covered in soap?

I'm thinking of getting this and seeing if I can put together a fix to center the HUD.

Hey Paddy, I am trying to get the game running with SoftTH.

Game config sees the 3840x1024 resolution and then launches fine, but in game is stretched.

Can you post your config.ini for me? Thanks!

*** UPDATED ***

Of course trial and error finally got it working with correct aspect ratio...turned out you had to say not widescreen, not wide window, but square pixel (must be a german thing!)...

After trying Colin Macrea DiRT (way too much a sim for me), this game is more my speed!

You can also replace the in game music with your own mp3's, so got Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park rockin' the place :twisted:

@Mobster007 - I have the game in "Arcade Plus" mode, so very Need for Speed control using my Momo Logitech FF steering wheel.

This is a FUN and FAST racing game, not a sim by any means...

Working game config.ini for SoftTH users is:

[Resolution]
DeviceID=0x10de0611

Sorry I should have put this in my original post ... :oops:
Quite some time ago Synetic fixed MB World Racing by adding that "Square Pixels" option ... back then they it was called "Matrox Square Pixels"

I have updated the first post.

Glad you got it working .... 8)
