Widescreen Gaming Forum

Picked this up for $5 while on vacation from a local shop. Thought I would post that it is Vert- in all widescreen resolutions which will make multiple monitor resolutions unplayable as a warning to those tempted by such a low price. It was likely designed around 16:9 and I find it playable at that ratio, but any higher would be a no.

Not worth a DR unless someone requests it. I searched for config settings and only found a text file with the same settings of the options menu, no FOV setting could be found.

This does not bode well for Rogue Warrior... and the upcoming AvP. All Rebellion games built with the same engine if I'm not mistaken.
Don't be sad though, there's still something you can do with this game ;)

I would be surprised if AVP is as bad, but I guess anything is possible. I think this and Rogue Warrior were the Rebellion "B Team" though, and AVP is the proverbial "A Team"...

Who knows.

This game is oddly compelling though, honestly. It's like a first-person survival horror game which is unique as far as I know.
